Atlas Institute for Veterans and Families approached us with a mission close to our hearts: to support youths grappling with the effects of PTSD within their families. Their vision was clear — to create a nurturing space on the web, offering educational comics and fact sheets as mental health resources.

With a deep understanding of the sensitivity and importance of this initiative, we immersed ourselves in collaboration by partnering with the Atlas team and the youth advisory group, integrating their invaluable insights into every design iteration. From art style testing to seeking feedback for the characters we designed.

The culmination of our efforts is a comprehensive website featuring a vibrant 44-page full-color digital comic alongside three meticulously crafted fact sheets available in both English and French. The resources are bound by a consistent visual design system we designed. Moreover, to enhance authenticity and accessibility, we curated audio narrations directly sourced from real teenagers, enriching the website’s depth and resonance.
